Maggie Harty [Vanessa Marcil] Vanessa Marcil is "Maggie Harty", Alex's deceased wife, a beautiful, vibrant young woman who was Alex's inspiration. Marcil made her feature film debut starring Nicholas Cage in The Rock. She played Brenda Barret on ABC's "General Hospital" for which she garnered an award for Outstanding Lead Actress at 1998's Soap Opera Awards.
